Authors are invited to submit interesting and educational cases for the
Case of the Month. Please follow the guidelines below while preparing your submission.
Case Submission Guidelines
Authors are requested to submit their case in the form of a
PowerPoint presentation (.PPT/.PPTX).
The presentation should include the following:
1. Patient Description
- Age and gender
- Relevant clinical history
- Presenting complaints
- Clinical examination findings
- Final diagnosis
2. Preoperative Documentation
- Clinical photographs
- Relevant radiographs (X-rays)
- CT scans, MRI, or other imaging studies (if applicable)
3. Management and Surgical Technique
- Treatment plan
- Surgical approach and procedure performed
- Implant details (where applicable)
4. Special Maneuvers
- Description of any unique or innovative techniques used during management
- Reduction methods, fixation strategies, grafting techniques, or other modifications that contributed to successful treatment
5. Postoperative Documentation
- Postoperative radiographs and imaging
- Clinical photographs demonstrating outcomes
6. Follow-up and Outcome
- Duration of follow-up
- Functional and clinical outcomes
- Complications (if any)
- Key learning points
Important Instructions
- Ensure all patient identifiers are removed to maintain confidentiality.
- Images should be clear, properly labeled, and of high quality.
- The presentation should be concise, well-organized, and supported by appropriate captions and annotations.
- Submit the final presentation in PowerPoint format (.PPT or .PPTX).
